• What does this mean for my career?+

  The new T8 will be an exciting new workplace with new opportunities and an enhanced experience for you—from new employee amenities, new career resources for you, and more.

• What does this mean for my current concessions employer?+

  We’re working with our concessions partners on the transition, which will take approximately 12-24 months. We are committed to keeping you and your co-workers informed. 

• Will there be new job opportunities?+

  Yes, the redevelopment project is expected to double the number of concessions jobs from today. We look forward to bringing in exciting new stores that will create new career opportunities for you.  

• How long will the transformation take?+

  Approximately 24 months. To start, we are adding temporary services to help better serve our customers today. New permanent stores are expected to open later this year and throughout 2024. 

• What is happening at JFK T8?+

  Partnering with American Airlines and the Port Authority, we are expanding and enhancing the shopping, dining, and services offerings at Terminal 8. This means more stores, restaurants and upgrades throughout the terminal to better serve our customers.
